divide-by-zero asked: Hey, I love your blog! :)

Just a comment on the Higgs post though, that link titled "An Alternative to the Higgs Boson," is total garbage. I dont know how much you know about physics, but her "paper" is just laughable. For instance, she says THE HIGGS DOESNT EXPLAIN GRAVITY. But this just shows her total misunderstanding of particle physics - the Higgs has...

starvlings asked: How much do you know about Elliptic Integrals?
If it wouldn't be too much hassle, could you explain whatever you know of them to us? I'm having some trouble calculating the arc length of an ellipse.

shanfanpan asked: Hey. I gotta un-follow for a while. While I really like your blog and saw nothing wrong with that comic (it's a freaking comic!), your blog has turned into something else. All the posts are reiterations of the same points. And I imagine you are getting arguments in your inbox and want to respond to them. As a reader, I would like to see it ignored. I'll check back later when...

highlighteretcigarettes asked: I'm surprised and worried by how violently people reacted to your climate change post. Although I personally accept the global warming theory, I really respect and admire how you've handled the response. Science (in the broadest sense) is a study because it allows for discussion and discovery, and a scientist is one who questions the world around him or her. Flat-out accepting a...

william-co asked: Hi,

I've been sort of following this debate on Climate Science. I'm currently studying A-Level Environmental Studies, but through all these posts, I can't actually fathom what the debate is actually debating, and what your views on said debate are?

imall4frogs asked: Where climate change is concerned, proof may be impossible. However, I've come to believe that the link between higher atmospheric levels of CO2 and melting glaciers, icecaps, etc. is at least as strong as the link between cigarette smoking and lung cancer. Do you see the link? If not, then where have I gone wrong in my world view?
For the record, it matters not what our opinions...
