Hi Gorbax! LOL, very good point of SMBC, but it’s not new for me. I had a teacher of Material Physics long time ago (during mastering in Applied Physics), and someone asked him once if Physics would ends when the Theory of Everything succeed… I remember him quite annoying answering:
“What the hell! In any case this would end Theoretical Physics, the rest of physics is probably infinite.”
And I agree. But calm dear theoretical people, probably not even the Theory of Everything will be the last step, sure there will be something beyond. Besides that theoretical physicists are quite recyclable people, there are plenty of areas where they can contribute their skills, even outside Physics.
